Located in Sakaine 779-13,
kashiwa-city, Chiba, Japan, the Clean Art Limited specializes in mould
prevention activities for households, hospitals and food processing plants. We
also sell raw materials for processing mould inhibitors. Our mould inhibitors
range from sprayers for households to interior decorating products such as
wallpaper glues and floor waxes.
Our MD123, while highly safe and effective to almost all moulds and
bacteria in the daily life, is different from other mould inhibitors that are
effective only to certain kinds of moulds and bacteria, without enduring effect
and producing a weak prevention result. The MD123 also works well on algae.
It is said that there are 57 kinds of moulds inside and outside
buildings. But JIS only uses 5 kinds of moulds in their tests to judge the
performance of a mould inhibitor. Therefore, even a qualified JIS mould
inhibitor is not guaranteed to efficiently prevent moulds from regenerating. On
the other hand, the explanation of mould prevention given by the Guide of
Economic and Industrial Ministry does not mention moulds and black flecks. In
addition, the conventional mould inhibitors are not effective on bacteria
(colon bacillus). In a word, moulds can only be restrained by mould inhibitors
but the conventional mould inhibitors can not restrain wide-ranged moulds.
There are plenty of mould inhibitors, including inorganic ones, such as
silver, and organic types which take use of natural components such as
catechin, mustard, retinispora, an astringent persimmon and etc. As for
inorganic compound, they are not effective in areas where they do not reach
moulds directly, while the type of natural components can not retain
sustainable effects. Additionally, they are different in terms of safety.
Being organic compound, MD123 boasts strong prevention and long-lasting
effect. It is ideal for ventilation systems and other mouldy sites which are a
headache for conventional mould prevention measures. As for its safety, the
lethal dose test carried out by Japan Food Research Laboratories has indicated
that even the maximum dosage has never caused a single case of death.
With frequent television reports on the harm brought about by mould,
people are increasingly sensitive to this issue. Recently, the problem of sick
house has caused a full-scale employment of non-formalin products in
highly-sealed residential buildings. Therefore the mouldy situation is getting
worse. More and more individuals, as well as organizations which have already
given up mould prevention measures, construction institutions and managers of
residential buildings have all cried for consultation and help.
■ Ordinary residential buildings,
newly-finished buildings (interior and exterior decoration, prevention and
measures after moulds have occurred)
■ Rented houses (the tenant can not initiate decorating activities; in
most cases, the tenant is held responsible for moldy situation)
■ Hotels, old people’s homes, food stores (interior and exterior
decoration, prevention and measures after moulds have occurred)
■ Villas, log houses
■ Outer walls of highly-humid villas
■ Art gallery, walking way of golf course (anti-algae measures for
preventing slipperiness)
■ Hot springs, interiors of bathhouses, changing rooms (mould and
bacteria prevention)
■ Freezing warehouses for foods (mould prevention at places with sharp
temperature difference)
■ Food processing plants (walls and ceilings where high temperature
working procedures take place; outer walls of brewing plants)
■ Factories (preventing mould and bad smells produced by mould)
■ Basements with high humidity
■ Surrounding areas of central air-conditioning water towers
■ Hospitals (preventing mould and
in-hospital infection)

To make the mould inhibitors filter directly in
penetrable places.

According to conditions of different construction sites, mixing the
inhibitors with paint or with various protecting materials.

■ Nowadays a lot of people believe mould inhibitors are dangerous. For those who actually use such products, it is reasonable for them to get worried if the products can not be proved safe. The item of composition of some mould inhibitors only indicates anti-bacteria medicine. So naturally people have no idea what it is and if it is safe at all. In Japan, it is allowed that if the content is below certain level (ppm) the name of the composition can be avoided. But we do not think that tiny amount means safety.

The mould killing principle of MD123 is totally
different from the fast pacing one of disinfector or bleacher that brings out a
partial asepsis condition. An ordinary antiseptic attacks the cell nucleus and
thus brings harm to human beings as well. While MD123 attacks cell wall only
and animal cell has no cell walls, therefore it is not harmful to human beings.
MD123 prevents DNA formation of mould cell, causing it to perish of itself by
not being able to grow. MD123 takes use of the memory character of mould which
spreads the repulsion information to the same type mould for not coming near.
